after my first day of officially starting classes and digging into the word, its ten o'clock (ive been up since 430am..due to some issues with sleeping) but i just walked in the door and figured i should write a little update after an unsuccessful attempt the other day when my blog froze on me. Today has been an amazing day, although long I find myself just praising the Lord in the midst of my tiredness...
I learned/am learning today how to study the bible inductively. I didnt realize how hard it would be to read the bible and write all over it with colored pencils and then break it down into 4 word paragraph sentences...well incase that sounds confusing to you...it is. But its so much fun!
I am beginning to understand how much work this school is really going to be. Today I loved every minute of it. I love that I get to dive in to the most beautiful book in the world for 10-12 hours a day. Its like the words have been coming alive in new and exciting ways. I know that as the days continue on there will be times of stress, times of wanting to just give up and quit and times where i probably just want to scream. But i dont think it could ever surpass getting to study God's word. Its amazingly beautiful and perfect all at the same time.

Praise and glory to the King of Kings who has called me to Taiwan for the next nine months. Believe me when I say that I miss home already. Taiwan is missing quite a few AMAZING OREGONIANS!!!!!! But i know that you are in good hands back home. My prayers go out to you and i promise to more later.
