oh the beauty of women.

Its amazing how God works in our lives. Tonight was such a testimony to that. You always wonder why He puts certain people in our lives the way He does. Tonight I got to experience something so amazing. 10 women who love the Lord coming together to seek His face and glorify one another in prayer. I am reminded of a sermon I just heard last week at Calvary Chapel, Pastor Steve was talking about true community and friendship. The relationship that Jesus shared with Lazarus. Such a beautiful love that they shared for one another. It was evident that Jesus valued this relationship with Lazarus and that we too are also created to value and invest in relationships. This same relationship showed up tonight in a number of different ways. It was amazing to see women of such different ages coming together and loving one another. I feel so blessed to think that I can have the relationship that Jesus and Lazarus experienced with my very closest friends.

I understand fully, this love because of this:

1 John 4:7-11
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves have been born of God and knows God. Whomever does not love does not know God, because God IS love. This is how God showed his love among us; He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and send his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

With this stated...I can agree fully with this:

John 15:13
“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”

Jesus laid down his life for his friends. We are called to lay down our lives for ours. We know love because he loves us. We are called to bring the Glory to God..a glory that is build in relationships around a common goal. JESUS.

Our greatest witness to the world would be that we would love one another and were friends with one another.

God is rad. amazing. awesome. lovely. so. so . so. good.
