my new friend Russell.

So yesterday I was at the Gov Cup and I have to share my experience with you. I met a fellow named Russell. As I was walking past he proceeded to ask me how my year was so far, I told him that it was great and that I was excited to embark upon my journey to Australia with YWAM, we got to talking and I found out that he knew The Word..well. So well in fact that he had memorized the entire King James Version of the Bible. We got to talk a lot about Hebrews. He told me that it was his favorite book.

Ill back up a few hours to when he walked through the door, I was sitting at a table on my computer thinking about Support and doing my Visa application. I glanced over to see this gentleman walk through the door with an obvious disability, turns out he has Cerebral Palsy (Sp?) But even through his limp, he damaged hand and his lazy eye, I could still clearly see Christ radiate through him. It blew me away. At that point I knew I had to talk to him.

Now back to chatting with him. We shared our stories and I found out that he claimed to be Agnostic. Agnostic? Really? For those of you that don't know, Agnostic people are said to be Doubtful or uncertain about the existence or demonstrability of God or other deities. (According to Wikitonary). I just flat out told him that he wasn't. That he was a child of God the Father and knows truth. Anyone that refers to God as Yahweh, knows TRUTH. He asked me to pray for him, i did just that. I stepped out in faith, just led by the Holy Spirit and lifted him up to His one True love.

I ask that you would say a simple prayer for Russell. Pray that Yahweh would reveal himself to Russell. That he would be so overcome with joy, peace, patience and hope that he would jump for joy. Literally. I do believe its possible.

I do want to share with you, Hebrews 12:1-4, that in which we talked about to give you encouragement. 'Therefore , since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand if the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding you blood.

Thank you Father. You continue to amaze me.
